(There follow) the indulgences for the recitation of "Veni creator Spiritus," granted by Pius VI in a brief of May 26, 1796. This brief is preserved in the archives of the College at Rome. (?) (This is followed by) an exhortation on the fostering of the worship of the Holy Spirit. A note in French adds that this is a copy of the printed one sent from Rome.

(A note in French states that) this is a copy of a printed document brought from Rome by the Jesuits at St. James. Pius VI with his motu proprio of (October 2), 1795 granted indulgences for the recitation of the prayer "Angele Dei." The pope also issued a new brief on the Holy Spirit signed on September 2, 1796 and published on the Feast of St. Michael. With this brief, the pope renews the above mentioned permission and adds a plenary indulgence at the hour of death. (This is signed also by) Philipo Can. Liberti, secretary.
